SGC Flexible joints with braid

Flexible Joints with external braiding for the absorption of vibrations and for the partial absorbtion of expansion in all hot or cold medium carrying piping systems.
Easy to assemble, they are used in demanding conditions involving high temperatures, tensile, and compressive movements, to facilitate assembly, to compensate foundation settlement and ground movement, to absorb vibrations of pumps, drive units, turbines, etc.
SGC joints are essential components in many power transmission systems, absorbing vibrations, compensating for misalignments, and ensuring smooth and long-lasting operation. They are designed to meet diverse needs and ensure optimal performance under various operating conditions.

  • Type 1: couplers with intakes
  • Type 2: couplers without intakes

Technical features

  • Max. working temperature: 1112°F.
  • Metallic bellow stainless steel: AISI 321 (thickness 0,3 mm).
  • Braiding stainless steel Aisi 304
  • Couplers: FeP04 + grey paint
  • WMIG welding
  • Nominal pressure: PN 2,5 (0,245 MPa).
