The aluminium tape is characterised by good thermal stability, excellent resistance to tearing and stretching and a high level resistance to infiltrations of damp. It is widely used in combination with lamellar felts, rock wool pipe coverings and small ceramic matresses with aluminium. It is provided with an adhesive film that makes it extremely easy to apply and gives it excellent initial adhesiveness.
The
tape is in pure aluminium with an aggressive adhesive for the
application on sites and it allows the use under difficult lay-out
conditions.
It has a safe protection against moisture penetration. It
guarantees an easy use in inside working at low temperatures, during
cold season.
The tape is a barrier against water and water vapour and
has an excellent resistance against ageing. The aluminium foil has a
good abrasion resistance.
