K 57 is an excellent self-adhesive sound deadener and antirumble material.
It is a flexible, high-density composite, obtained by combining a special bitumen impregnated cardboard with a mass with high adhesive power. Self-adhesive on one side.
Used as a soundproofing and anti-drum material for elements with thin walls through the stiffening effect,
wherever it is necessary to dampen vibrations at the outset, preventing their propagation to the surrounding
structures and limiting their damage.

Processing
- Clean area of sub strate from all dust, grease, oil and water. Insure entire area adhesion.
Press pieces carefully, e.g. using a roll. Best results are obtained at temperatures between, 20 and 30 °C, application below 15 °C should be avoided. The adhesive compound adheres immediately at room temperature; full adhesion strength is reached after few hours
Storage
- Dry at temperatures between 18 and 35°C, keep away from direct sunlight
Storage time: 3 months - for steel sheets thickness 2,0 mm
Note
Generally combined with our SILENTCELL series, you can obtain the total vibration damping and, furthermore, a medium noise-reduction of 20÷30 dB(A) approx. - being an excellent noise-barrier too.
